William “Buddy” Carl Stankevitch, 81, of Little Egg Harbor passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025. He was born in Passaic, NJ, raised in Ringwood, NJ. and graduated from Lakeland high school. He resided in Summerland Key, FL for over 20 years before settling here in 2019. William served honorably as a combat infantry veteran in the 199th Infantry division of the United States Army during Vietnam. He had a long and successful career as the Vice President of UPS Air Freight division. He loved fishing, sports, auto racing, Captain Morgan with Diet Coke & lime and being with his family and friends.

William was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Gertrude Stankevitch,and Sisters Linda Boyhan and Valerie Stier.

He is survived by his children, Joseph Stankevitch and his wife Maddalena of Little Egg Harbor, Renee Bobko of Cape Coral, FL, Charles Stankevitch and his wife Jaclyn of Little Egg Harbor.

Grandchildren, Kyle, Antonella, Jolena, Samantha, Trinity, Dominic, Charles, Sophia, and Sara. Also, leaving behind great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday February 1, 2025 from 11am to 2pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
