Werner A Dirr

Werner A. Dirr, 83 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Thursday September 12, 2019. Born in Eichstatt in Bavaria, Germany he immigrated to the United States in 1964. Werner was a mechanic in Germany and once he moved to the United States he was an Auto Mechanic for several large car dealerships in Philadelphia and Toms River. He later worked as an Auto Mechanic Teacher for Toms River South High Schools. He owned and operated Werner Dirr Boat Hauling and Marina in Barnegat, NJ and this was the career he enjoyed the most.

Werner was predeceased by his parents Kastulus and Helen Dirr. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Alida Dirr, son Albert Dirr of Arlington, VA and daughter Christine McNeil of Little Egg Harbor and niece Barbara Dirr.

Services for Werner are private and under the care of Maxwell Funeral Home, Little Egg Harbor.
