Virginia DelConte

Virginia (Ginger) Regina DelConte, 89 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Wednesday July 13, 2022. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she lived in Oakland, NJ and Mahwah, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 40 years ago. Virginia was a graduate of St. Vincent College in Manhattan, NY with a degree in teaching and taught in Bergen and Essex Counties before working at the Adult School located at Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin, NJ.

Virginia was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Church in Little Egg Harbor where she served faithfully for many years doing daily readings. She was truly a devout catholic and was active in the church’s Pro-Life organization. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed gardening, golfing with her husband, boating, fishing and spending time on the beach.

Virginia was predeceased by her husband Michael Del Conte. She is survived by her brother Eugene Bonacci and wife Maureen of Englewood Cliffs, NJ, nieces and nephews Elizabeth Connolly (Joseph), Eugene Bonacci Jr. (Karen), Susan Henderson, Michael Bonacci, Mark Bonacci (Angela), Michele Donatelli (Clark), sister-in-law Pauline Acanfora as well as many other nieces and nephews and close friends.

Viewing hours will be held on Monday July 18, 2022 from 4 to 8pm and Tuesday July 19 from 9:30 to 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday July 19^th at 11:00am at St. Theresa R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087 followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery Toms River, NJ.
