Sidney J McMain

Sidney J. McMain, 94 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Thursday November 12, 2020. Born in Salt Lake City, UT Sidney spent time living in Folsom, CA before moving to Little Egg Harbor 16 years ago. Sidney served our nation in the United States Army during the Korean War and worked as a Pharmaceutical Rep. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with family and friends. The family encourages everyone to live by Sidney’s advice for life: “Player Cool”.  

Sidney was predeceased by his parents William and Lillian McMain, his siblings and his son Steve McMain. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Judy McMain, children Christopher McMain and wife Lori of Beachwood, NJ, James McMain of Golden, CO, John McMain and wife Sharon of Friday Harbor, WA, Traci Bushnell and husband Jeffery of Boulder, CO and Kerri McMain and husband John Seebohn of Boulder, CO, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday November 15, 2020 from 7-9pm and Monday November 16, 2020 from 10am until his Funeral Service at 11am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Burial will follow at Brainerd Cemetery 22 S. Main St Cranbury, NJ 08512. Due to COVID-19 the funeral home is operating at 25% occupancy capacity as per NJ executive order. Staff will be there to assist. Please note that all visitors must wear a face mask inside the funeral home.
