Sharon Ruth Thompson

Sharon Ruth Thompson, 67 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Thursday November 21, 2019. Sharon was born and lived in North Jersey until she moved to Little Egg Harbor in 1980. Sharon worked at New Lisbon Developmental Center as a Manager of Human Services. Sharon enjoyed listening to music, singing, dancing and was always the life of the party. She loved life and people and would talk and make friends with anyone. She was a good listener, problem solver and was always there to help and support her friends. She lived her life by the motto her mother taught her that “her purpose on earth was to love and be loved”. She was an amazing second mother, grandmommy and great-grandmommy.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Rose Thompson, brothers Joseph and Harold Thompson and “sister” Rainey.

She is survived by her loving Partner Diana Eadson, children Scott (Josette), Sandi (Bill), Keith (Sara), Rebecca (Kevin) and Brad (Holly), “sisters” Judy, Barb, Linda and Rainey, 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and many wonderful cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 14, 2019 from 11am until her Celebration of Life Service at 12pm at the Mystic Island Fire Company at 827 A Radio Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
