Sharon Morey

Sharon D. Morey, 74 of Tuckerton, NJ passed away on February 14, 2023 surrounded by her family. Born in Bayville, NJ, Sharon was a lifelong resident of Tuckerton, NJ. She graduated from Southern Regional High School in 1968. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tuckerton, where she enjoyed helping with Sunday school, VBS, served on many committes, and was a member of the UMW. She was an active member of the West Tuckerton Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary, past President of the Auxiliary and honored as a Life Member. She was also a member of the Tuckerton Red Men Pohatcong Tribe Pocohontas. She always had a bright smile on her face and offered a helping hand to everyone. Sharon enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, baking, gardening, cooking, chair yoga, and going to church. She loved flowers and plants and enjoyed baking fruit cake for Christmas and pumpkin bread for Thanksgiving. Sharon was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and enjoyed cheering them on. Sharon delivered flowers for PJ'S Florist. She enjoyed singing and listening to music and loved to dance.

Sharon is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Phyllis Driscoll.

She is survived by her loving husband Calvin of 52 years, son Aron Morey and wife Jennifer of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, daughter Tara Benitez and husband Greg of Tuckerton, NJ, brother Russell Driscoll and wife Valerie of Tuckerton, NJ, grand children Christian, Haven, and Savannah, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 3-4 pm followed immediately by a memorial service and repass to follow at First United Methodist Church of Tuckerton 134 N. Green Street, Tuckteron, NJ 08087.
