Ruth Irene Schussler

Ruth Irene Schussler (Votava), 97 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away peacefully at Mystic Meadows Nursing Home on Sunday morning January 9th 2022. Ruth was born and lived in New York where she was employed as a secretary at a NY City law firm. She later moved to Wycoff, then to Brick NJ where she raised her family and also worked as a bookkeeper. After retiring she and her husband Roy moved to Little Egg Harbor in 1993. She enjoyed playing card games, mahjong and enjoying time with her family. She also loved going to the Casinos and playing the slots.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband Roy, daughter Ellen Schussler, and sisters Edith Kiel, Winnie Miller, Camille Moller, and brother Robert Votava.

She will be missed by her son Gary Schussler and wife Joy of Bayville NJ, granddaughter Jennifer Harding and husband Scott of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, grandson Jeffrey Schussler and wife Kristen, of Allenton Pa, great grandchildren Alexis Harding, Carson & Meadow Schussler, and nieces Sandy Spader and Jackie Penrose.
