Robert W. Stover, 91, of Manahawkin, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Stover worked as a crane operator at the Earle Naval Facility, Belford, NJ. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his beloved wife, of 72 years, Catherine MacLennan Stover of Manahawkin, his four sons; Robert of Florida, Kenneth of Manahawkin, Michael of Toms River, John of Manahawkin, his two daughters; Patricia Alger of Toms River and Nancy Perrone of Virginia, his brother Arthur Stover of Shrewsbury, his ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 1pm to 5pm and on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 10am to 11am at Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A funeral service will follow, 11am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
