Robert J Salerno

Robert J. Salerno, 64 of Tuckerton, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Monday March 10th, 2025. Robert was born in New York, NY and spent time living in Staten Island, NY before moving to Tuckerton, NJ in 1976. Robert was an Operations Manager for Clean Water of New York in Staten Island retiring in 2022. He worked as a Merchant Marine in New York in the Marine industry for 40 years. He enjoyed collecting coins, vacationing yearly with his family, and loved spending time with his loved ones. He took great joy in seeing other people's happiness and always brought life and laughter to the party. But his greatest enjoyment came from being with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.

Robert was predeceased by his father Robert Salerno and brother Raymond Salerno.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Debra Salerno, daughters Jessica Salerno of Tuckerton, NJ and Megan Salerno of Tuckerton, NJ, mother Joyce Salerno of Tuckerton, NJ, brothers Richard Salerno and wife Barbara of Sweetwater, NJ and Ronald Salerno and wife Cathy of Narrows, Virginia, grandchildren Lucas Salerno and Layla Bavuso, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday March 24th, 2025 from 5-8pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:30pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
