Robert E. Gibson

Robert Edward Gibson, 82 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Monday December 22, 2014. Born in Bayonne, NJ he lived in Brick, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 30 years ago. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953 and retired from the NJ State Police. He was a member of the MICA Club in Little Egg Harbor and he enjoyed Skiing, Football and spending time on the water.
Robert was predeceased by his brother William Gibson and sister Margaret Gibson.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Joan Gibson (nee Beelitz), sons Bob Gibson of Tucson, AZ, Bill Gibson (Sarah) of Elizabethtown, NY and Todd Gibson (Tricia) of Webster, NY, daughter Susan Huhn (Herb) of Toms River, NJ, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 6, 2015 from 2 to 6pm with a Memorial Service at 4pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
