Robert Erhart

Robert Erhart, 76 of New Gretna, NJ passed away at home on Sunday, July 17th, 2022. Robert was born in New Brunswick City, NJ and raised in East Brunswick, where he spent most of his early adulthood. He lived in Mystic Island and Tuckerton, NJ before settling in New Gretna about 30 years ago. He was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served in the Army from 1965 to 1967. He was a family man who spent most of his life working and was a truck driver for Tubular Steel Inc for most of those years. After his retirement, he was able to spend more time with his family, and enjoying his favorite pastimes; fishing at Green Street Park, watching Nascar, hunting, and thrift shopping. 

Robert was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rose Erhart and his daughters Brenda and Sherry. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Linda Erhart, children Stacy, Richard, Bobbie, Robert Jr, Colleen and Nicole; grandchildren Joseph, Richard, Kristin, Robin, Sherry, Jonathan, Robert, David, and Charles; great-grandchildren Avery, Elliot, and Landon; and his canine companion, Rosie.  

Cremation will be held privately, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please check back for details.
