Patricia “Pat” Ann Karcher of Little Egg Harbor passed away at The Terraces at Seacrest on July 26, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Queens, NY. Predeceased by her parents Edward Ennis and Catherine Morrisey, husband Guido G. Karcher, brother Michael “Mickey” Ennis and daughters Catherine Karcher and Carol Rosenhaus. She is survived by her daughter Maureen Wagers, son Richard Karcher, daughter in-law Elisabeta Karcher, grandsons Richard Karcher Jr. and Alec Karcher, sister-in-law Agnes Haag, and neice Kerry Ennis.

Pat met Guido “George” Karcher in Glendale, NY. Guido asked for her # to which she responded “it’s in the book” and the rest is history, they were married on April 8th 1961. Pat was a devoted wife, mother to her children and also nana to her grandchildren. 

Pat supported her husband Guido as he went on to work for Esso/Exxon for over 30 years which included global relocations for the family to Holland, England, North Africa, California, Texas, and many other countries and places visited along the way (too many to name) with a home base in Montville, NJ.

Pat had a voice like no other. She joined The Barn Theatre in Montville which was home to a countless number of performances. Pat was also known for belting out a tune off of the stage as well and had a closet full of costumes for any occasion. 

Pat & George retired on the water in Little Egg Harbor. Pat devoted her time

Volunteering at the Thrift Shop in downtown Tuckerton, Habitat for Humanity, playing bridge with friends and was “the queen bee” of her Red Hat group. 

The family will be holding a repass (details below) and with a private family burial on Monday.

Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 3:00 – 6:00pm in the Sun Room at LBI National Golf Course 99 Golf View Drive, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Food and drinks will be served.
