Nathan C. Mazza, 70 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Tuesday October 18, 2016. Nathan was born in Hackensack, NJ and was raised in Paterson. He lived in West Paterson before moving to Little Egg Harbor 10 years ago. He proudly served our nation in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Mystic Island American Legion Post 493. Nathan was an avid pigeon flyer who also loved to fish, spend his time gardening and taking care of his animals.
Nathan was predeceased by his parents Carmen and Phylis Mazza and his former wife Rhoda Taylor. He is also predeceased by his siblings, Mary Byrnes, Lena Elia, Domenick and Joseph Mazza.
He is survived by his loving children Jason Mazza and wife Anna of Totowa, NJ, Danielle Mazza of Millstone, NJ and Nicole Scudillo and husband Marc of Millstone, NJ, long-time companion Dorothy Metz, sister Sadie Campen of Little Falls and grandchildren Alexa, Ava, Stella, Juliet and Jayce.
An interment of ashes will take place on Monday October 24, 2016 at 10am at the Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Arrangements are under the care of Maxwell Funeral Home, Little Egg Harbor.
