Maureen F. Murphy

Maureen Frances Murphy, 87 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Wednesday May 22, 2024.  Born in Newark, NJ she lived in Beach Haven West before moving to Little Egg Harbor 25 years ago.  

Maureen was a communicant of St. Theresa R.C. Church in Little Egg Harbor, NJ.  She worked for the Garden State Parkway as a Toll Collector and Supervisor before retiring after over 30 years of service.  Her favorite pastime was visiting Atlantic City and going to the casino.  

Maureen was predeceased by her parents Michael and Kathleen Murphy.  She is survived by her loving cousin Nancy Layhen, her dear friend Lori Bonnett and the Marcell family with whom she was close with.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2024 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.  A Funeral Mass will also be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at St. Theresa R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.  Interment will be private.
