Maryellen Maurer

Maryellen Maurer, 73, of Ventnor, NJ passed away on Wednesday January 19, 2022. Maryellen was born and raised in Philadelphia, NJ and lived in Tuckerton prior to moving to Ventnor 20 years ago. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years at Atlanticare and The Bacharach Institute of Rehabilitation, and also worked at Macy’s in the Hamilton Mall. Maryellen served as a hostess at The Grapevine in Tuckerton for many years.
Maryellen was a communicant of St. Theresa’s R.C. Church in Little Egg Harbor and St. James R.C. Church in Ventnor. She enjoyed traveling and going for walks on the Atlantic City and Ventnor Boardwalks.
Maryellen is survived by her loving sons William Sundermann and fiancée Deborah Mathis of Little Egg Harbor, Michael Sundermann of Ventnor, NJ and Matthew Sundermann of Belleplain, NJ, brother Frederick Maurer of Reading, PA, sister Janice Diegel of Warrington, PA and grandchildren Caden, Kieran and Sarah Sundermann.

A Memorial Service for Maryellen will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the care of Maxwell Funeral Home, Little Egg Harbor.
