Maryann "Bankie" Holmes

Maryann, Holmes ""Bankie"", 77 of Little Egg Harbor, passed away on Wednesday August 12, 2015 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin. She was born and raised in New York City, NY and lived in Maplewood, NJ before retiring to Little Egg Harbor 20 years ago with her husband Paul. Maryann received her Confirmation at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City and was a graduate of Cathedral High School in 1956. She enjoyed travelling and going to Atlantic City.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Paul Holmes in 2011 and brother John Bankston.
She is survived by her loving children Stephen Holmes and wife Christine of Lake Hopatcong, Patrick Holmes and wife Donna of Augusta, GA, John Holmes and wife Deanna of Nashville, TN and Paul Holmes of Forked River and grandchildren Nicole, Stephen and Samantha.
Viewing hours will be held on Saturday August 15 from 3 to 7pm and Sunday August 16 from 9 to 10am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton.
