Mary Guzzardo

Mary Guzzardo, 97 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Sunday November 8, 2020.  Born in Brooklyn, NY she lived in Colonia, NJ and moved to Tuckerton in the mid 1980’s to live on the water and finally to Little Egg Harbor.  Mary grew up during the Depression and through the War and knew the value of a dollar so she always loved a good bargain and a flea market find, as well as enjoying her time in Atlantic City. 

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Francesco Guzzardo and her son Francesco Guzzardo Jr. 

She is survived by her loving grandchildren, Christine Guzzardo of Montclair, NJ, Francesco Guzzardo III of Wannaque, NJ, and Nicholas Guzzardo and wife Stephanie of Morris Plains, NJ, daughter-in-law Joan Guzzardo and brother Alesio D’Amelio. 

Visitation will be on Thursday November 12, 2020 from 10am until her Funeral Service at 12noon at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton.

Due to COVID-19 the funeral home is operating at 25% occupancy capacity as per NJ executive order. Staff will be there to assist. Please note that all visitors must wear a face mask inside the funeral home.
