Lorraine Overton-Duzinski

Lorraine Overton-Duzinski, 83 of Galloway, NJ passed away on Monday July 26, 2021.  Born in Passaic, NJ she lived in Bergen County, NJ before moving to the Little Egg Harbor/Tuckerton area over 40 years ago. 

Lorraine worked as a nurse for the Atlantic County Jail and at New Lisbon Development Center.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Little Egg Harbor for many years and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  She also had a strong passion for gardening. 

Lorraine was predeceased by her daughter Deborah Lee Sprengel, husband William Overton and brothers Charles, Meryl and Theodore Shupp. 

She is survived by her sons William Overton Jr. of Toms river, NJ, Ken Overton (Tina) of Croydon, PA and Brian Overton (Sue Ellen) of Tuckerton, grandchildren Jack, Kurt, Bonnie, Laura, Michael, Rick and Brian “Teddy” and great grandchildren Angelina, Christina, and Hunter.

Viewing hours will be held on Thursday August 12, 2021 from 6 to 8pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.  A Funeral Service will be on Friday August 13 at 11:00am at Calvary Baptist Church 850 Railroad Drive Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087 followed by burial at the Brig Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
