Kathleen A Dupree

Kathleen Alice Dupree, 71 of Tuckerton, NJ passed away suddenly on December 7, 2020 at Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she grew up in Bergenfield, later moving to Barnegat, Lacey, and Whiting, before settling down in Tuckerton, where she lived for the past 13 years.  Kathy spent many years as a homemaker, but also held various jobs throughout her life.  She worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier, owned a children’s consignment shop, managed Jo’s Thrift Shop, and worked as an associate for Rite Aid.  Kathy was an avid reader, known to finish a book in just a day or two.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing cards and games with her friends.  Kathy loved all things Disney and Americana. She spent a great deal of time helping others and planning special events for the residents of Harbor View Apartments.

Predeceased by her parents, Roy and Evelyn Barlow, her husband, Stanley Dupree, her Aunt Marjorie Donovan, her brother, Dennis Barlow, and her sister-in-law Gail, Kathy is survived by her children, Stanley Dupree and fiance Laura of Lacey, NJ, Mary Desai and husband Chetan of Chesterfield, NJ, Colleen Jennings and husband Michael of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, her grandchildren Mackenzie, Jaymin, Joely, Madison, and Jiya, her siblings, Timothy Barlow, Kevin Barlow, Terrence (Ellen) Barlow, Eileen (James) Tracy, and Patty (Kenneth) Martin, sister-in-law Dorothy Barlow, along with many nieces and nephews. She will also be greatly missed by special friends Joyce, Roy, her cat Noel, and many others.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday December 15th, 2020 from 5pm until her Memorial Service at 7pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
