Karen Palmer

Karen Rae Palmer, 45 of Barnegat, passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 at Southern Ocean Medical Center with her parents at her side. She was born at Clara Maass Hospital in Belleville, NJ, lived in Kearny, moving to Mt. Arlington and then to Barnegat. She received an Associate's Degree from Berkeley School of Business.
Karen was employed at Seacrest Village in Little Egg Harbor as an Administrative Receptionist. She had a winning smile and personality and all who knew her loved her as much as she loved them.
We would especially like to thank the Holloway family for all the compassion and love they have given to Karen. She was truly blessed. Karen leaves behind her ""family of friends"" at Seacrest Village who have been so supportive. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. D. Gandhi and Dr. E. Naylor for their utmost care.
Karen is survived by her parents Ronald and Barbara Palmer, her boyfriend Kenny Zorns, her very best friend Rae Reed and her foster sister Yamile Gomez. Many thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Locasto for their continuous support throughout Karen's ordeal. Also surviving is her uncle Allan (Flo), Aunt Ginny, Aunt Theresa (Harry) and several cousins.
Viewing will be held on Friday, Sept. 25th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Road, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. The Funeral Service will begin at 8:00pm at the funeral home.
