June B Applegate Connolly

June Bernice Applegate Connolly, 86 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Sunday February 6, 2022 surrounded by her children. Born in Staten Island, NY June spent time living in Bricktown, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 5 years ago. June worked as a bookkeeper for L&H plumbing. She was a Communicant of St Theresa’s Church and a member of the American Legion Post 493 Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting and making bows, reading, and bowling when she was younger.

June was predeceased by her parents William and Prudence Heddle, husband Thomas L. Connolly, second husband Wayne H. Applegate, son Frederick “Ricky” Gustave Connolly and twin sister Joan.

She is survived by her loving daughter Denise Jakob of Little Egg harbor, NJ, son Thomas Leo Connolly of Asheboro, NC, numerous nieces and nephews, her friends at L&H Plumbing and her many other friends she met over the years.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday February 10, 2022 at 11am at St Theresa’s R. C. Church 450 Radio Rd Little Egg harbor, NJ 08087 followed by a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Atlanticare Hospice at 6550 Delilah Road Suite 210 Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey 08234
