Joyce Lynch

Joyce Marie Lynch, 76 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Tuesday February 7th, 2023. She was born in Nyack, NY and raised along with her younger brother Jim by her parents Selden “Tubby” Stiles, Jr. and Elizabeth “Inky” Stiles, (Keri), in New City, NY. 

After high school, Joyce went on to work as an Executive Secretary at Lederle in Pearl River, NY where she met her husband of 50 years, Robert M. Lynch. Together they raised four children in West Nyack, NY.  Joyce worked part time for many years at Jill’s Ceramics in West Nyack, NY before taking on a full-time role as office manager at a Plastic Surgery Practice in Nyack, NY.  Once she retired, she and her husband Bob moved to Little Egg Harbor, NJ where she enjoyed singing in the Harbor Bay chorus as well as participating in the social committee, women’s club, and circle of friends.  Joyce was fortunate to have established many lasting friendships at Harbor Bay.  This community is one she appreciated tremendously and one where she found joy in supporting and finding the support of many.

Joyce is predeceased by her parents, Selden and Elizabeth Stiles, and her beloved husband, Robert Lynch.  She is survived by her daughter Jennifer and her husband Patrick Cooney, son Christopher and   his wife Denise (Mullaney), son Robert, son Jeffrey, and her sweet dog Rosie. She cherished time with her grandchildren, Megan and Deirdre Cooney, and Noah and Quinn Lynch.  She is also survived by her brother Jim Stiles and his wife Joanne and their children, Jimmy, and Bryan.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 10th, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA or PanCan.org
