Joseph “Joey” Olivier, 19 of Little Egg Harbor passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday June 16th, 2020. Joey was born in Toms River, NJ and was a lifetime resident of Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Joey was a graduate of Pinelands regional High School and was involved in youth football. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and family and playing video games, but most importantly he loved being an uncle to his niece and nephew. Joey had the kindest soul and the biggest heart. He was always there for and loved everyone.

Joseph leaves behind his loving mother Tracie Olivier, sister Nicolette Jillson and husband Scott of Manahawkin, NJ, sister Victoria Olivier and boyfriend Chris Arocho of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, his very special niece and nephew Ariana and Scotty and baby Arocho, grandparents Gaten and Suzanne Matarazzo, aunts and uncles Rosanne and Pasquale Lubrano, Jackie and Jeff Harker, Gaten Matarazzo and fiancé MK Harrington-Robel and Heather Matarazzo, cousins Aniello, Adriana, Kaylee, Aubrey, Gaten, Carmen and Sabrina, great-aunts and uncles Linda and Lenny Clark, Carmen Matarazzo and Bart Drago and Lucille Matarazzo, two very important people in his life Scott and Jeff Jillson and many other extended family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his great-parents Rose and Modestino Matarazzo and Irene and Steve Kelman and great-uncle Augie.

Family and friends are invited to gather outside the Funeral Home to show support to the family between 6-10pm on Saturday June 20th, 2020 at 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. An outdoor Livestream of the service will begin at 9:30pm. To tune into the Livestream from home, we will be using Zoom with meeting ID: 475 406 0767 password: 6092966060

Family and friends are also invited to line up at the Funeral Home on Monday June 22, 2020 at 10:45am for procession to the burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Tuckerton.

In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Scholarship will be set up in Joey’s name, please check back for details.
