Joseph Alessi

Joseph Alessi, 86 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at Seacrest Nursing Home on Saturday April 22, 2023. Joseph was born in Sicily, Italy and moved to the United States in the 1950’s. He lived in Trenton, NJ until his retirement and then relocated to Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Joseph worked as lead supervisor mechanic for the City of Trenton, was a Communicant of St Anthony’s Church in Trenton and was a life member of the Trenton Elks. He enjoyed fixing cars (mostly his sons) and playing craps in Atlantic City.  

 

Joseph was predeceased by his parents Alfonso and Jenny Alessi and sister Palma Sciarrotta.  

 

He is survived by his loving wife Catherine of 62 years, sons Alan Alessi and wife Reine of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Joseph P. Alessi Jr. and wife Maryann (Rooney) and their dog Bailey of Trenton, NJ, brother Giacomo “brother Jack” and wife Jenny of Trenton, NJ, nephew James Alessi and wife Sharon, nephew Nicolas Sciarrotta and wife Joanne, niece Marie Goodwin and husband Kevin, great-nephews Daniel, Christopher, Luke, Zachary and Matthew.
