John S Gilmour

John S. Gilmour, 77 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Tuesday October 15, 2019. Born in Brooklyn, NY John spent time living in Bergenfield, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2001. John was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing bocce, reading and was passionate about history.  John had the good fortune of making close friends through his interests.

John was predeceased by his loving parents John and Elizabeth Gilmour.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 58 years Julia “Julie” Gilmour, children Jane Fitzpatrick of Rochelle Park, NJ, John E. Gilmour and wife Dawn of Harvest, AL and Vicki Landrigan of Maywood, NJ, grandchildren Sean Fitzpatrick and partner Cheng Huai Chuang, Corey Fitzpatrick and wife Gemma, Kaylee Landrigan, Dima Gilmour and Lacey Gilmour.

Visitation will be held on Sunday October 20, 2019 from 4-7pm and on Monday October 21, 2019 from 9-10am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Burial will be held on Monday October 21, 2019 at 1pm at Cypress Hills Cemetery Brooklyn, NY.
