Jeffrey Hawarden

Jeffrey Hawarden, 57, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Sunday June 2, 2024. Born and raised in Jackson, NJ, Jeffrey spent time living in South Belmar, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2007. Jeffrey was a service technician for Hobart ITW in Philadelphia, PA and was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 14 years where he found his faith and became a member of St. Theresa’s Church. He was a Grand Knight and District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus. He was very involved in the Knights of Columbus and had a great faith in God. Jeffrey was also a member of the Irish American Cultural Society of South Jersey and was very proud of his Irish heritage. He loved to cook, barbecue, fish, and be with friends and family. He loved country and Christian music, nature, and rescuing animals.

Jeffrey was predeceased by many relatives and in-laws, as well as his special dog Yoda.

He is survived by his wife Louise M. O’Brien-Hawarden, numerous family members here in the U.S. and abroad, friends, KOC members, discovery house members, members of St. Theresa’s Church, Atlantic County SPCA members, people he met throughout his life, and his fur babies – Hansel, Gretel, Stubby man, Bentley, and Jazzy. A special thank you to all of his healthcare providers, clergy members and those involved with the animal rescues.

Cremation will be private. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday June 8th, 2024 at 10am at St. Theresa's R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
