Jeanne Rose Miskelly

Jeanne Rose Miskelly, 77 of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 10th 2018 after her long battle with cancer.
Jeanne was born on March 12th, 1940 in Newark, New Jersey to Anne Mess (Peri) and Phillip Mess. She was an LPN who graduated from Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey and worked most of her career at Beachview Nursing Home, Keansburg, New Jersey.  After her daughter's automobile accident in 1986 , she left Beachview and dedicated herself to Marilyn's care until January 2018. 
Jeanne will be remembered for her beautiful smile (Oh those dimples!) and her kind and gentle soul. She loved to laugh and make other people laugh and had a wicked sense of humor. Jeanne loved her garden and took great pleasure in attending it. Although her life was a difficult one, she chose to ""Put up with the storm, so she could dance in the rain"".  She was gentle yet strong, quiet yet vocal, sensitive yet tough. She was a sweet, caring mother, grandmother (Nonny), sister, daughter, and friend and will be missed terribly. 
Jeanne is survived by her daughters Marilyn J Miskelly and Lisa A. Greeley (Sean Greeley) , her granddaughters and the lights of her life, Liliana Greeley and Olivia Greeley. Her sister and best friend, Elizabeth Ward, her sweet ""little brother"" Joseph Mess, her nieces & nephews, Jean & Bill Trudell , Pamela Ward, Sandra Ward, Julie Kesaday , Amy Wetzel , Phillip Mess , Victoria Mess, Jenna Santiago, Joseph Santiago and Connor Wetzel.
No more pain, no more worries, no more tears......just peace. 
** As per Mom's wishes there will be no traditional funeral or viewing.  She wanted her family to gather privately together to celebrate her life and remember her with laughter and love.
