James Emil Mattina

James Emil Mattina “Jimmy” 53 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away suddenly on Saturday November 27, 2021. Jimmy was a graduate of Pinelands Regional High School in 1985. He worked as a Sheet Metal Mechanic for Bonland Industries in Lakewood, NJ and was a member of the Sheetmetal Workers Local Union 27 in Farmingdale, NJ.

Jim enjoyed spending time with his family, watching Philadelphia sports and traveling, especially to the Florida Keys. He had a great "sick" sense of humor, loved to scare people, and make people laugh.

He always would put other people before himself and was proud that he lived his life the way he wanted. Jim most of all loved to spend time and make memories with his wife and family and he was the glue that held the family together.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Kim Mattina, sons James Mattina and wife Emily of Little Egg Harbor and Kyle Mattina and Chrissy of Little Egg Harbor, parents Bob and Louise Schaeffer, sister Michele and husband Ed O’Leary of Toms River, NJ, brothers Vincent Mattina and wife Jean of Jackson, NJ, Anthony Mattina and wife Sue of Bayville, NJ, Michael Mattina and wife Michele of Ocean View, NJ and Bobby Schaeffer of Little Egg Harbor, nieces and nephews Brian, Morgan, Nicholas, Stephanie, Tony, Dominic, Gavin, Anneliece and Emma. Also, Jimmy was ecstatic that he was about to be a Grandpa to baby Ella.
