Hugh D. Malley, age 82, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Born in Haverhill, MA., he lived in Sea Girt, NJ prior to Manahawkin where he resided for the last 10 years. He was a Sales Manager for U.S. Pipe and Foundry, Burlington, NJ. He also worked for the engineering firms of Camp, Dresser & McKee and Gannett Fleming. He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his loving wife Jane Bentley Malley of Manahawkin, his son Hugh D. Malley, Jr. and his wife Marybeth of Highland Mills, NY, his two daughters; Margaret Malley of Manahawkin and Elizabeth Young and her husband Matthew of Bronxville, NY, his brother Albert Malley of Louisville, KY and his seven grandchildren; Kyle, Cormac, Hannah, Zoe, Aidan, Maggie and Vaughn.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014, from 3pm to 5pm at Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Additional visiting will take place on Monday, December 1, 2014, 10:30am at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 510 Valley Street, Orange, NJ 07050, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial celebration beginning 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
