Harry P Morton

Harry P. Morton, 78 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Sunday April 25, 2021.  Born in Manhattan, New York.  He lived in Smithtown, NY from 1973 until moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2004.  He worked for NYNEX as a manager and for the IRS as a revenue officer until his retirement in 2003.  Harry was an avid golfer, reader and wood worker.  He enjoyed playing bocce and spending time with family and friends.

Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Maureen Morton, daughter Theresa Sapodin and husband Adam, son Matthew Morton and wife Stephanie, daughter Dawn Morton-Hickson and husband Jerry and son Brian Morton and girlfriend Shannon.  He is also the cherished grandfather of Kayla, Jenny, Delaney and Makenna.

Visitation will be held on Thursday April 29, 2021 at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087 from 4 to 8pm. 

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday May 1, 2021 at 9:30am at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church 280 East Main Street Smithtown, NY 11787.
