Gordon Eugene Roberts

Gordon Eugene Roberts, 88 of Tuckerton, NJ passed away on Sunday January 1, 2017 at Seacrest Nursing Home, Little Egg Harbor. Born in Philadelphia he lived in Croydon, PA before moving to Tuckerton in 1979. Gordon was a Past Chief and 50 years member of Croydon Vol. Fire Dept., he was active in the Tuckerton Masonic Lodge #4 and volunteered at the Tuckerton Seaport.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Elsie Roberts, brothers Elmer and Gerald Roberts and sister Lois McCaughey.
He is survived by his brothers Ronald Roberts and wife Linda of Manahawkin and Bruce Roberts and wife Naomi of Tuckerton, sister Nancy Brangan of Bucks County, PA as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services are private and under the care of Maxwell Funeral Home, Little Egg Harbor.
