George Robert Stickle

George Robert Stickle, 66, of Manahawkin and Howell, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold. He was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Lakewood prior to Manahawkin where he lived since 1980.
George is a graduate of Seton Hall University where he was a member of the ROTC. He worked as Vice President of Claims for Specialty Insurance Agency, Brick NJ. He was an avid bowler who was proud of his high game of 299. He was also an avid golfer and he loved to fish, enjoyed the beach, had a great sense of humor and loved good times with his family and friends.
George is predeceased by his parents, George and Irene Harris Stickle.
He is survived by the love of his life Diane Krol, his son John ""Jack"" Stickle, his daughters and sons-in-law; Carrie and Tony Ariemma, Jamie and Tim Moffett, Amber and Charlie Polhemus, his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Wendy Stickle, his sisters and brothers-in-law; Janet and John Wichelman and Joan and Tommy Goodwin, his thirteen grandchildren; Candi, Angel, Tommy, Amber, Ashley, Charlie, Alyssa, Donna, Jonathan, Timmy, Ryan, Maxwell and Noelle, three great grandchildren; Kiera, Wes and Cali and his many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm and Friday, May 8, 2015 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow, 11am at St. Francis of Assisi, Brant Beach. Cremation is private.
