George Kleinknecht
George Kleinknecht, 93, of South Plainfield, NJ passed away on September 9, 2022. Born in Newark, NJ, George spent time in Bridgewater, NJ before moving to Tuckerton, NJ where he spent many weekends in Atlantic City with numerous friends he met over the years. He recently moved to South Plainfield to be closer to his family.
George served our nation in the United States Navy and enjoyed a successful career with RCA. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and was an avid golfer, watching many golf tournaments but also blessed to be able to participate in the sport he loved throughout his entire life. Those fortunate to know him saw how his smile would light up the room when he walked in.
George was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Helen Kleinknecht; siblings Theodore (Teddy), Carol and Dennis; and his son George.
He is survived by his son David and daughter-in-law Margaret of Readington, NJ; his daughter Karen Gaspari of South Plainfield, NJ; Numerous grandchildren including Dawn and Tara Gaspari, partner Ricky; Jennifer, George, Garrett and Grace Kleinknecht; Great grandchildren Anthony, Erica and Elliana.
Services are private and under the care of Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Road, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
