Frank A. Piscola, 88 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on November 16, 2022.
He was born and grew up in "Da" Bronx, New York, raised his family in New Rochelle, New York, and eventually retired in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey.
Frank began exercising his entrepreneurial skills at the young age of 8 by gathering his cousins and friends collecting discarded bottles and turning them into ice cream sodas at the local candy store- pharmacy (in the day) for all to feast. At an early age, began studying and playing piano, eventually mastering works by great classical composers such as Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky to name a few. He also grew a passion for doo wap, boogie, and contemporary.
Frank Joined the Army in 1954 initially reporting for boot camp at Fort Dix NJ and going on to be stationed throughout the US and in parts of europe.
After serving in the Military, He went on to Studying at RCA Institute for electronics eventually working for computer main frame companies such as Bendix, Sperry Rand, Digital Instruments, and Scan Optics operating, maintaining, and repairing such customers systems at Readers Digest, Pitney Bowes, Fawcett Publications, and CBS Publications to name a few. Frank also performed duties at an Air Force tracking station in Minnesota.
Later in life, Frank's entrepreneurial skills re-emerged where he began directing his time towards opportunities in real estate. He was passionate about sharing opportunities with others, often finding and developing real estate deals to own and operate both residential and commercial pieces which were all successful. This afforded him the ability to shift solely to a self employed status eventually moving on to larger opportunities and eventually retiring at the approximate age of 68.
Frank's quick wit, sense of humor, and passion for life and success was contagious. He left a lasting impression on all who knew him, family friends, and associates.
He loved his shore home where he enjoyed gliding, boating, clamming, crabbing, and fishing. His greatest joy was his family and friends. He supported them in all they did.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife Dolores, married for 61 years, son Angelo and wife Shari of Little Egg Harbor New Jersey, grandchildren John and Taylor Cirri, and great grandson "Buddy Boy" Cole Cirri.
Frank was predeceased by his parents Angelo and Josephine Piscola, and sister Rose Lucille Piscola.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2022 from 2 to 4pm and then from 6 to 8pm and Wednesday November 23, 2022 from 8:30am to 9:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass and Military Honors will be held on Wednesday November 23, 2022 at 10am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church 450 Radio Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
