Francis S Johnson Jr.

Francis S. Johnson Jr., 73 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Tuesday March 14^th, 2023. Francis was born in Neptune, NJ, grew up in Belmar and Wall, NJ and spent time living in Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Montana and Bellville, NJ for 10 years before moving back to Little Egg Harbor 3 years ago. Francis was a retired maintenance worker on the Garden State Parkway, a Mate on the Miss Belmar and was a member of the NRA. He also was skilled at fileting fish for many markets in the area.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, gardening, cooking and was just an overall outdoorsman.

Francis was predeceased by his parents Francis S. Johnson Sr. and Julie (Lundsteen) Johnsonand his sister Kathleen Gregory and her husband Daniel who was his best friend.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Patricia Johnson, daughter Dawn M. Jonson of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, son Francis S. Johnson III and wife Kathleen of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, sister Karen Green of Howell, NJ, brothers Ernest Johnson of Belmar, NJ and Michael Johnson of Montana, grandchildren Francis S. Johnson IV and Jacklyn Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday March 30^th, 2023 from 6-9pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
