Fausta Diaz

Fausta Diaz, 96, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2024. Born and raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Fausta moved with her five children to Long Branch, NJ, in 1961. She later lived in Lakewood, NJ, before settling in Little Egg Harbor 12 years ago.

As a devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Fausta was deeply involved in ministry and teaching, sharing her faith with passion and dedication. She dedicated her life to God and was baptized on May 12,1963.  Her favorite scripture was Hebrews 6:10, “For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name by ministering and continuing to minister to the holy ones.”

She had a profound love for music and found joy in playing the guitar and singing, enriching the lives of those around her with her musical talents.

Fausta was predeceased by her parents, Dominga Lopez and Placido Diaz; her brothers, Mino, Pepe, and Julio; her sisters, Antonia and Ana; and her grandchildren, Mary, Maydelle, Joshua, and Brittany.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Rafael Santiago, Eusebio Santiago (Sonia), Jose Santiago (Julia), Maria Escobedo (Juan), and Ada Iris Soto (Angel). Fausta was also the cherished grandmother of Debbie, Michael, Katherine, J.R., Giselle, Cynthia, Samuel, Nadya, Daniel, David, Priscilla, and Gabriel, as well as a beloved great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother to many.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Fausta's life will be held on June 8, 2024, at 4:00 PM EDT at the Toms River Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 1115 W Whitty Rd, Toms River, NJ 08755.
