Evelyn M Lavender

Evelyn M. Lavender, 88 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Tuesday September 6, 2022.  Evelyn was born, raised and lived in Bayonne, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 1989.  She was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Church in Little Egg Harbor.  She worked in the church office for many years and she found much joy in serving on the church Fundraising Committee and participating in the Christmas Charity Drive.  She loved her church family and was very devoted to the Blessed Mother.  Evelyn also enjoyed knitting and was an avid reader. 

Evelyn was predeceased by her husband William Lavender in 2013, brothers William Weaver and Richard Weaver, sister Katherine Hanneken and grandson William Roselle. 

She is survived by her loving daughters Linda Roselle and husband George of Hillside, NJ and Debra Lavender of Little Egg Harbor, grandchildren George, James, Patrick, Aileen, Avelyn and Steven and great grandchildren Jaedan and Arianna. 

Visitation will be on Friday September 9, 2022 from 9:30amuntil the Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Theresa’s R. C. Church 450 Radio Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
