Eugene M Kobryn

Eugene M. Kobryn, 90 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Thursday November 11, 2021. Born in Manhattan, NY he lived in Clifton, NJ and Dover, NJ prior to moving to Little Egg Harbor 24 years ago. Gene was a man who enjoyed life to its fullest. He loved to talk to people and could cover all subjects with interest. He had a very successful career and was actively involved in many organizations. Gene was also very active in his community, serving on the Little Egg Harbor Twp. Committee and ultimately as Mayor of Little Egg Harbor in 2016. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and served there as a greeter and usher. Gene truly achieved so much in his life and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Gene is predeceased by his step-sons Frank and James Wainen and sister Stephanie.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years Barbara Kobryn, sons Stephen Kobryn and wife Pattie of Virginia and Michael Kobryn and wife Linda of Kentucky and granddaughter Andrea Franconia and husband Nick.
Visitation will be held on Thursday November 18, 2021 from 3pm to 7pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 6:00pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Burial will be on Friday November 19 at 12:00pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
