Edward V Varga

Edward Varga, 80 of Little Egg Harbor passed away on Saturday May 28, 2016. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ and lived in Somerville before moving to Little Egg Harbor 30 years ago.
Edward served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He went on to work as a tractor trailer driver for Cooper Jarret in Piscataway, NJ. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved clamming, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie of 34 years, sons Edward Jr. and wife Cheryl of Yardley, PA, Michael and wife Barbara of Stockton, NJ, and Steve and wife Joan of Hawley, PA, grandchildren Katie and Sarah of Yardley, PA and Steven Varga of Stockton, sisters Elsie Schumacher of Hillsboro, NJ and Florence Palka of Flemington, NJ, his close friends Ray and Joan Sullivan of Brant Beach and Everett ""Bob"" Giberson of Warren Grove and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Tessie Varga.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 2, 2016 from 2-4pm and Friday June 3, 2016 from 9:30-10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home followed by burial at the NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
