Edward Beck

Edward N. Beck, 95, of Seminole, FL, passed away on June 30, 2023. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Eddie has always spent his summers on Mystic Island, New Jersey. Eddie enjoyed a long career with the New York City Fire Department and retired as a lieutenant. Eddie was a freemason, and enjoyed fishing, going on his boat, cooking, hunting, and making wine. Eddie had a tenacious memory and enjoyed sharing his knowledge and experiences. He made the best cheesecake in New York.

Eddie is predeceased by his parents Edward and Elsie Beck.  

He is survived by Alice, his wife of 67 years, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Cremation will be private. A memorial service will be held on Monday July 10, 2023 from 3-5pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
