Edward E Andrew

Edward E. Andrew passed away after a short battle with cancer on Sunday June 16th, 2024. He was 76 years old. Ed grew up in Springfield, NJ where he graduated from Jonathan Dayton Regional High School. He continued his education in finance, graduating from Bloomfield College and Stonier School of Banking. He was retired from PNC Bank and GMAC CM.

Ed leaves his wife of 43 years, Carol Trapp Andrew, his daughter, Heather Andrew, Son-in-Law, Jeremy Douglas, his stepson, Michael Mongiovi, Daughter-in-Law, Heike Mongiovi, 4 grandchildren, Kenneth Mongiovi, Aimee Mongiovi, Elisabeth Thomas and Adam Thomas along with his brother Eric Andrew and two sisters, Phyllis Clark and MaryJane Keller.

Ed had a presence bigger than life. He made and kept so many friends forever. He loved to travel and did so extensively, but his greatest joy was fishing and boating in Great Bay. He was very active in the Little Egg Harbor Community, being on the Planning Board, attending all town meetings and Senior Advisory meetings and reporting from his notes to everyone he knew. He was the current President and past treasurer of the Osborn Island Resident Association and worked diligently to get our lagoons dredged and implemented many new activities for the association. He was very supportive to our Little Egg Harbor Police Department and to the Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter where his wife serves on the Board of Directors.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 14, 2024 from 11am until A Celebration of Life Service at 12noon at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
