Douglas Michael Snyder, 76 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Friday October 29th, 2021. Doug was born in New York, NY and spent time living in Edison, NJ, Staten Island, NY and Merrick, NY before moving to Four Seasons at Harbor Bay, Little Egg Harbor 4 years ago, which he considered one of the best decisions he ever made. Doug served our nation in the United States Air Force and graduated from Columbia University. He was a member of the Edison Elks BPOE #2487, The Baymen’s Men’ Club and The Harbor Bay Photography Club. He enjoyed making bird houses, photography and traveling and was an avid pen and knife collector. Doug also enjoyed dancing and listening to music especially ACDC and faithfully watched Svengoolie on Saturday nights. Doug presently has been working from home for Dellon Sales Company, Roslyn NY.

Douglas was predeceased by his parents Alvin and June Snyder and daughter Melissa Snyder.

He is survived by his loving wife Fran of 46 years, daughters Keri Gruss and Lauren Lucid and husband Jeremy, grandchildren Ryan Gruss, Aubrey Lucid and Jordyn Lucid and many cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday November 4th, 2021 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with a Funeral Service at 7:30pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Cremation will be private.
