David Kosciolek

David Kosciolek, a loving and caring husband, great brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend, left this world suddenly on May 16th, 2022.  Born in Glen Ridge, NJ, David grew up in Middletown, NJ, and with his wife lived in Aberdeen, NJ, and St. Augustine, FL, before moving to Little Egg Harbor, NJ in 2021.

David was the founder, creator, and publisher and founder of Narrow Magazine in St. Augustine, FL and Gainesville, FL.  Narrow magazine continues to be published, with the help of great friends and associates who all share his vision to recognize and promote local musicians and artists. He was also the co-founder of the St. Augustine Music Hall of Fame. Here he lent a hand in recognizing the abundance of past and present talent in the St. Augustine music community.

David enjoyed traveling and getting to know other cultures.  Music was a big part of David's life, so much so that in every travel adventure, he was always happy to listen to the local music talent.  He enjoyed going to concerts and live music events.  David felt in touch with nature by going along with his wife on long hikes.  He was a sports enthusiast and was a zealous fan of Rutger's football.  

David had a huge heart.  He constantly did unexpected things that made each of us know how special and loved we were by him.  We are truly going to miss him, his jokes, his dances with his wife, his huge capacity to love, his encouragement, his guidance, and his love for life.  You are gone too soon, but you will always live in our hearts.     We love you David!    

David is predeceased by his father Frank Kosciolek and his mother Irene Kosciolek.

He is survived by his wife Ileana Artiga-Kosciolek, his sisters Eva Horn her husband Richard, Ellen Kosciolek and nephews Eric and Marc.
