Cheryl Ann Pivola

Cheryl Ann Pivola, 53, of Somers Point, NJ passed away on Tuesday March 8, 2022. Born in Rahway and raised in Fords New Jersey, Cheryl also lived in Dorothy and Rio Grande prior to moving to Somers Point 2 years ago. Cheryl worked in the Banking Industry for most of her life and she began her career at First Savings Bank when she was 17 years old. She worked her way through and up the corporate ladder at a number of banks until she became an Assistant Vice President at Ocean First Bank. She most recently changed careers and was the CGO Coordinator for Shop-Rite in Egg Harbor Township for the last 2 years. Cheryl was a very active member of her community at the Kiwanis Club in Wildwood, a member of the Wildwood Elks, and sat on the Board of Trustees for Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation as the first Vice-President. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, Yoga, golfing and shopping. Her most treasured moments were spending time with her Nieces and Nephews

Cheryl was predeceased by her father Robert, sister Sharon, grandparents Anne, Frank, Joseph, and Salomea, Aunt Terry, Aunt Jean, Aunt Josephine, Uncle Al and Uncle Larry.

She is survived by her mother Irene of Little Egg Harbor, fiancé Ron of Somers Point, brother Rob and wife Janene of Little Egg Harbor, brother-in-law Wayne and wife Karen of Barnegat, Aunt Helen (Godmother). nieces and nephews; Jennifer and Rich, Tara and Jimmy, Wayne Robert and Toni, Jordan, Kenley, Liberty (Goddaughter), MacKenzie, KaiLani, Autumn, Paislee, Lucas, Skylar, Jimmy, Emmarie and Nate. Cousins; Joyce and Billy, Nancy and Michael, Greg, Gary and Tricia, Allen, Raymond and Cathy, Ricky (deceased) and Kim, John and Sheree and her wonderful loving neighbor, Alice.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 12, 2022 from 9:30am to 10:45am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087 followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church 450 Radio Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
