Charles "Butchy" Purks Jr.

Charles Norman Purks Jr “Butchy”, 78 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Monday October 23^rd, 2023. Charles was born in Trenton, NJ and spent time living in Pennsylvania before moving to Little Egg Harbor, NJ in 1978. Charles proudly served our nation in the U.S. Navy on the USS Manley, and was a service manager for Ford. He enjoyed doing stained glass, kayaking, and was a member of the Great Bay Paddlers.

Charles was predeceased by his parents Charles Purks Sr. and Irene.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Karla, daughter Karla Burda and husband Jason of Bethlehem, PA, and grandchildren Mitchell, Brittany, and Kierra.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday October 31^st, 2023 from 10 am -12 pm with service at 12 pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery N Green Street Tuckerton, NJ.
