Charles W Popek

Charles W. Popek, 62 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Wednesday June 9, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA he spent time living in Folcroft, PA before moving to Little Egg Harbor, NJ 35 years ago. He was happily retired as a welder from the Lakehurst Naval Base. He is well known for his love of fishing, boating, the water, and well-traveled vacations. Nothing he loved more, than his children that he cherished and was so very proud of.

Charles was predeceased by his parents Charles and Ruth Popek and his former spouse Barbara Popek.  

He is survived by his loving children Nina Popek of Galloway, NJ and Chuck Popek and fiancé Kayleigh of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, sisters JoAnn Popek Shields and MaryAlice Miller and grandchildren Ryan, Mackenzie, Camryn, Dillon and Chase.  

Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 15, 2021 from 12-1pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery at 1:30pm.
