Carol A. Andrew

Carol Ann Andrew, 75 of Little Egg Harbor NJ passed away on Thursday April 3, 2025. Carol was born in Glen Ridge, NJ, raised in Verona, NJ and worked as a Bookkeeper for Lawton and Burns. After retirement, she and her husband Ed lived in Lansdale, PA where Carol volunteered for Stray Cat Blues and developed a passion for cat rescue and adoption before moving to Little Egg Harbor NJ in 2008. Her family and many friends have enjoyed weekends in Little Egg since the early 1970s. Carol was a board member at Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter and in her retirement she dedicated much of her time to managing a trap, neuter, release and adopt program to which she is very much credited for eradicating the feral cat population in Little Egg Harbor with the help of many other volunteers. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Carol was predeceased by her parents Walter H. and Jeanette M. Trapp, her husband Edward E. Andrew and brother Walter H. Trapp Jr.. She is survived by her loving son Michael Mongiovi Jr. his wife Heike of Venice, FL, and grandchildren Kenneth and Aimee. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 11am-12pm with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12pm at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Road, Little Egg Harbor, NJ  08087.
