Brigid Smolin

Brigid Smolin, 76 of Little Egg Harbor passed away on Wednesday November 16, 2016. She was born in Kilrush County Clare, Ireland and lived in Manalapan, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 14 years ago. She retired as a Treasurer for the Englishtown/Manalapan School System. Brigid was a communicant of St Theresa's Church and a part of numerous social and ladies clubs. She enjoyed golfing with her husband Sidney, Mah Jong, travelling, knitting and helped during the elections with the voting process.
Brigid was predeceased by her husband Sidney Smolin in 2012 and her parents Patrick and Nora Keller.
She is survived by her loving children daughter June Smolin of Little Egg Harbor and son Mark Smolin (Carla) of Maryland, brother Dan Keller (Bernie), sisters Noureen Feerick (Jim) and Betty Thomson (Tom) and grandchildren Connor Ellsweig, Katie Ellsweig, Michael Smolin and Rachel Smolin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday November 20, 2016 from 12-3pm and Monday November 21, 2016 from 9:30-10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday November 21, 2016 at 11am at St. Theresa's R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor followed by burial at the Brigadier General William C Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown NJ.
