Arden F Myers

Arden F. Myers, 88, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Monday April 1st, 2024.

Born on the family farm in Bridgeton, NJ and raised in Philadelphia, he and his wife moved to Medford, NJ in 1961 and resided in the home they built with the help of his brother Earle. He and Patricia moved to Little Egg Harbor Township in 1986 where they developed many close friendships.

He began his building career as a carpenter at age 16, becoming an independent building contractor and master carpenter. He continued with this career throughout his life into his late 80’s. He enjoyed spending time with his dog, sharing a meal with friends and puttering with his cars, especially his classic pick-up truck.

Arden was predeceased by his parents Earle and Cora Myers, his beloved wife Patricia, their infant son Mark Anthony and their many beloved Great Danes. He was also predeceased by his older brothers Earle and Donald. 

He is survived by several nieces and grand nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Arden’s life will take place at the Indian Mills United Methodist Church, 89 Indian Mills Road, Shamong, NJ 08088 on Wednesday, April 10th. Visitors will be received from 11:30AM to 12:00 noon with a service to begin at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Arden’s memory to the American Heart Association, The Indian Mills United Methodist Church or the Popcorn Park Animal Refuge, 1 Humane Way, Forked River NJ, 08731.
