Anthony “Bud” Peter Caruso, 98 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away peacefully at home with his daughter by his side on Monday October 30th, 2023. He was born in Montclair, NJ and lived in Forked River, NJ and Arizona before moving to Little Egg Harbor. Anthony served our nation in the United States Army Air Forces where he flew P38’s. After his military service, he was a pilot with Suburban Airlines and flew charter flights out of Monmouth and Red Bank Airports. After his retirement from flying, he drove his RV throughout the Northwest where his passion for flyfishing allowed him to make many life long friends. He spent over 20 spring and summers at Yellowstone Edge RV Park where he taught fly fishing to many enthusiastic anglers year after year.

Anthony was predeceased by his parents Peter and Katherine Caruso, son Peter Caruso and great-grandchild Cameron Pope.

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Caruso of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, sons Jim Caruso and wife Cheri of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, John “Oscar” Caruso of Islamorada, FL, Jeff Caruso and wife Christy of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Mike Caruso of Prescott Valley, AZ, grandchildren Tabitha Methot and husband Mike of Bedford, NH, Jim Caruso and wife Tiffany of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, Justin Caruso of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, Tyler Jensen of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Nick Caruso of Browns Mills, NJ, Matthew Schnelker and wife Julia of Indianapolis, IN, Ashleigh Schnelker of Tampa, FL, Autumn Caruso of Lake Oswego, OR and Destiny Caruso of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and great-grandchildren Lilly and Tucker Pope of Bedford, NH, Camron and Kendall Caruso of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ and Layla Caruso of Bowling Green, KY.

He was very proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be missed very much by his family and friends.
